Sails and Dolphin are here for Stuart Fl. Fishing Charters

www.offthechainfishing.com
Happy new year! Im glad to report fishing is improving with each cold front! We fished a 3/4 day today and caught five sails and a few dolphin. Dolphin fishing has been consistently good while the sail action has been a little slow. Hopefully today was the start of something good.

Morning half day Stuart Fl. bottom fishing charter

Great action on the bottom today! Tony, Gary and Ben kept 20 snapper and enjoyed a beautiful day. We Released a bunch of throw back Mutton snapper and yellow tails, but we did get a few keepers, we also got some nice lane snapper and vermilion snapper.
We also caught a nice king, and lost a sail.

A little of everything on today's Stuart Fl. Fishing Charter

www.offthechainfishing.com
Back on my boat today, it's nice to be home...
1-2 on sails, 5 gaffer dolphin to 20 lbs, a 20 lb kingfish, lost couple of AJs we pulled off while jigging, then fought a huge fish for two and a half hours ( we did see him, but couldn't tell what kind he was before he broke us off 30 feet down, it was white and silver...? Frickin HUGE!) great job to Bob, Scott and Ray for tag teaming this beast on a Butterfly jig rod with a fin nor spinning reel.  It was an epic battle with a ton of laughs mixed in. Bob was shaking so hard when he gave the rod up that he tried to drink a beer but he made it foam up trying to get it to his lips. We also caught a few mutton snapper, lane snapper and sea bass. These boys will be eating good to night. And already planning more trips back including meeting us in Treasure for a few days in June. www.offthechainfishing.com

Stuart Fl. Fishing Charters for Sailfish

The sails continue to chew off the Treasure Coast. It's time to book a sport fishing charter out of Stuart, "The Sailfish Capital of the World"

Stuart Fl. Sailfish charters produce!

Stuart Fl. fishing charters have been off the chain the last few days. Expect dolphin, sailfish, Bonita, and maybe a shot at a wahoo too. Bottom fishing has been getting better too, with some nice gags and amberjack showing up again.
We have 3 weeks if grouper season left, so it's a good time to go if you want to put some fish in the freezer.
Here's a picture of Kim's first sailfish she ever caught. Not too bad for her first time out on the ocean!

Happy 1/2 day fishing charter out of Stuart Fl.

We fished a morning half day charter with Bill and Gail yesterday and were lucky enough to catch a few before the wind kicked up too bad. Knowing that we only had a few hours of fishing before the weather turned nasty, we decided to skip the looking for live bait, and run right to the trolling grounds.
We set out in 125 feet in blue water with some flying fish and scattered grass. It didn't take long for the first dolphin to bite. Gail made quick work of a 10 lb. cow which we decided to let go being it was a female. ( great decision guys!)
We continued trolling for the next few hours catching a few small Blackfin tuna,
a 30 lb. wahoo (Gail's first ever!) and a couple more female dolphin which were released too.
The wind picked up to a stiff 20-25 kts from the North and we wrapped it up.
Great morning with a great couple.
